Who is Jon Montgomery?

Jon Montgomery became a celebrated Canadian when he defied great odds to win the Gold Medal in Skeleton racing at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics – beating out his closest opponent by 7/100th of a second. Jon celebrated his victory with his famous “beer walk” in Whistler BC – a true reflection of his zest for life, pride in being Canadian and love for great beer. Today, Jon is a loving husband to his wife Darla, and super dad (and dog dad!) to his children Jaxon, Lennon, and dog, Stark.

What is “Brewdocking”?

Jon Montgomery, former Canadian Olympian Champion and the host of the Amazing Race Canada is comedic, engaging, and embodies true Canadiana! Go RVing Canada presents an online series that explores the amazing and diverse natural playground Canada, along with its equally diverse craft beer offerings. Jon will travel across Canada to participate in local ‘Wildhood’ activities to help drive awareness of all the amazing destinations from coast to coast. Watch as Jon surfs in Tofino, paraglides over Kelowna, catches lobster in the maritimes, and sky-dives in the Niagara region. While he visits these iconic regions, he will sip-test at craft breweries and learn about the local culture at each destination.

Why RV travel is the way to see Canada?

With an RV you can explore the world and live your wildhood. Take the comfort of your own home with you and follow your own adventures. We want to show how amazing the RV lifestyle can be through Brewdocking and with our resources and stories on gorving.ca. Regardless of your budget, if you're new to the lifestyle, if you prefer a luxurious trip or going off the beaten path. RVing is accessible for everyone and one of the best ways to free your wildhood and unplug. When planning your RV adventures it also helps to have a vehicle that can help tow your home on wheels. Our friends at Chevrolet Canada provided Jon with a Chevy Tahoe High Country for his entire trip, and it helped carry his NOBO from coast to coast.
